Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a master’s degree in Taxation. He has experience in both public accounting and the software industry. As a Partner at Heritage, he uses his expertise to guide clients through periods of growth by preparing projections and forecasts. He also advises on accounting and software systems, assists with the selection and implementation of pension plans, and helps clients sell or otherwise transfer their business interests. Drawing on his tax experience, Anthony works with individuals and business owners not only to prepare their tax returns, but also to develop strategies to reduce their tax burden. Additionally, he represents clients before taxing authorities.

In addition to serving clients, Anthony is a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Before becoming a Partner at Ferrera, DeStefano & Caporusso (now part of the Heritage brand), Anthony worked at the international accounting firms Peat Marwick Main & Co. (Audit Department) and Grant Thornton (Tax Department). He then joined Prentice Hall Professional Software, Inc. as Director of Tax Support to further develop his tax and computer expertise. Anthony received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Pace University and his master’s degree in Taxation from Long Island University.
